  • Today's trip takes you along the coast, which is still almost untapped by tourism in the northeast. After arrived in “El Cedro”, it goes with a safari truck up on the “Montaña Redonda”.

  • From here you can enjoy an unforgettable panorama view. Enjoy this moment with all your senses. Afterwards a typical lunch awaits you.

  • The Trip will continue towards “Sabana de la Mar”. The streets conditions get worse in this hilly area. “Sabana de la Mar” is located at the entrance of the national park “Los Haitises”. From here you reach the natural paradise “Paraiso Caño Hondo”.

Activities:
  • Today you can go on a boat trip and explore the national park “Los Haitises”. This is one of the largest and most interesting untouched areas of wet tropical jungle in the Caribbean. The tour will take you to the coastal area of the biological reserve, which spans over 200 km² in total. The coast is lined with an enormous green mangrove belt and over 50 small islands that form a labyrinth of water ways. Visit a cave and walk through the impressive national park. The park is one of the most important sanctuaries for indigenous plants and animals.

Activities:
  • After breakfast leave towards “Punta Cana”. The street will lead through small Dominican villages and you will drive along kilometer long sugar cane plantains. You will pass the colorful and lively village “Hato Mayor”.

  • In the south, an exciting visit of the cave system “Cueva de las Maravillas” awaits you with many underground stream courses and flow stone caves.

  • In “La Romana” you will visit a cigar factory, where you will learn everything about tobacco processing. Since a few years, the Dominican Republic has become one of the most important tobacco nations beside Cuba.

  • Lunch will be served in the small fishing village “Boca de Yuma”.

  • Afterwards transfer back to “Punta Cana”.
