In the middle of the worldwide fight for survival with an increasing excess of information, more and more speculations and many theories about the Post-Covid-19 travel world, we would like to provide you with an update about Dom Rep Tours as your Destination Specialist, and about the situation in Dominican Republic.
The country reacted at an early stage with a wide-ranging lock-down which forced our team in Santo Domingo to be working out of their homes.
For now, borders will remain closed until 17 May and prevention measures such as night curfew and obligation to wear masks stay in place.
Our team are keeping in touch with our partners and service providers preparing as much as possible for the upcoming season. You can reach us by email or phone. Please note, due to high volumes of incoming emails and reduced staff during this time, we ask for your patience as we may not be able to reply to all emails immediately.
We continue to rebook free of charge and gladly accept new bookings. For new bookings until 30 Jun 2020 and with a travel period until 30 Jun 2021 no cancelation costs will be applied for cancellations made up until 14 days before the travel date. All reservations made between 05/03/2020 and 30/04/2020 for a travel period till 31/10/20 will not have a cancellation fee if the cancellation is carried out more than 14 days before the intended travel date. The corresponding cancellation fee will apply for reservations made before 05/03/2020.
Dominican Republic is making tremendous efforts to control the Pandemic locally and to do everything possible to welcome future guests as soon as possible in a SAFE and COVID-19-FREE environment.
Dom Rep Tours priority is to continuously adjust procedures and protocols with the clear objective to ENSURE a COVID-19-RISK-FREE, unique and memorable vacation experience for our much appreciated guests.
Please stay healthy and keep going!
Best wishes from Santo Domingo.
